Teenage Engineering @ The Store

For the second collaboration we've partnered with Teenage Engineering to feature products and interactive installations at The Store. The Teenage Engineering curation at The Store runs through end-of-year and features the synthesizer OP-1, a portable all-in-one synthesizer used by artists Beck, Depeche Mode and Jean Michel Jarre, the reengineered OD-11, a premium airplay cloud speaker and a brand new line of musical instruments called Pocket Operators, three pocket-sized synthesizers.

New Work: Eyes Wide Open — Our new work the for non-profit World Childhood Foundation has launched with a takeover of Times Square featuring large close-ups on eyes and the tagline #EyesWideOpen. The social media campaign is intended to raise awareness and keep our eyes open in order to fight child abuse.

MING featured at AIGA South Street Seaport Annex — AIGA/NY has invited five New York City-based companies — MING, MTWTF, Nothing in Common, Doubleday & Cartwright, and MTV — to participate in “Looking, Thinking, Making In The City.” An innovative multi-level exhibition, “Making in the City” will explore how the creative processes of five of the most innovative New York design studios and creative companies are influenced by the urban environment.

The opening event of the exhibition will take place on Monday, August 17th at the AIGA/NY Annex on Front Street in the South Street Seaport. RSVP here.

Ming is happy to announce the grand opening of The Store, a design and retail destination located at 25 Peck Slip in lower Manhattan. Rooted in the timeless heritage of the storefront as community connecting point, The Store is a physical space for new and interesting ideas, products, projects, people, art and inventions.
